Build your queue

Flick through your listings on Facebook. On each one, click Edit, hit GRAB LISTING in your bookmarks bar, come back here and click ADD GRABBED LISTING. Each one starts renovating the moment you add it, working through the queue in the background while you grab the next. You will hear the ding when the whole lot is done. Your queue is saved on this computer, so you can come back to it.

Marketplace search matches words in the title and description. This tool works brand variants, common misspellings, related terms, and your region into natural sentences plus a short search-terms line at the end. Relist stale items after updating; fresh listings get the most impressions in their first 24 hours.

The Grab Listing bookmarklet

One click on a Facebook Marketplace edit page copies the title, description, price, and location to your clipboard, ready to paste into the renovator above.

Install once

  1. Make sure your bookmarks bar is visible (Ctrl+Shift+B in Chrome, Cmd+Shift+B on Mac).
  2. Drag this button up onto your bookmarks bar:

If dragging does not work, right click the button, copy the link address, then create a new bookmark manually and paste it as the URL.

Use for every listing

  1. Open a listing on Facebook and click Edit so the form fields are visible.
  2. Click GRAB LISTING in your bookmarks bar. You will get a confirmation showing the title it grabbed.
  3. Come back here and click PASTE FROM FACEBOOK. The fields fill themselves.
  4. Hit EXPAND DESCRIPTION, then copy the new title and description back into the Facebook form and save.

The bookmarklet only reads the form fields on the page you are looking at and copies them to your own clipboard. It sends nothing anywhere and changes nothing on Facebook.

Selling something similar to another listing you found? Skip the typing

You can also start from any listing already on Facebook, including someone else’s. If you are selling the same or a similar item, open that listing, copy its title and description into the renovator above, and hit EXPAND DESCRIPTION. It rewrites everything in your own words with fresh search keywords, so you can adjust the details to match your item and post it as a new listing without typing a thing from scratch.
